Ever since Google rolled out the latest version of the Android OS (4.1, aka Jelly Bean) on its Nexus 7 tablet made by ASUS, owners of Samsung's mega-selling Galaxy S III have been clamouring to update their devices with it, although the anticipated release date seems to keep being pushed back. According to reports online however, Samsung has now “confirmed” Jelly Bean should be ready for the S III in October, although we're still no closer to knowing when local telcos will be done with testing it and are ready to deploy the release for Australian users.
